Sydney is 3

This is the month of Birthday's for us. Sydney also celebrated her birthday. It was on the 18th of April. We had 3 of her friends over one afternoon and they all played while the moms all sat around a visited. It was great!

Here is a picture of Sydney blowing out the candles on her ICECREAM CAKE!!! Can you say yummy!!! And here is a picture of Sydney's God Parents, Fran and Jose Vasquez. They came over the evening of her birthday. She is always excited to see them.

I thought this was a good close up of Jose and Sydney. And she is wearing a Repunzel dress that they got for her. She wears it almost every day. She loves anything that involves princes'.

And here is a good picture of her and Patrick. She is getting so big!!!

3 years sure have gone by fast. We are excited to see what this little princess of ours has coming in her future!!!

Isaac is 5

Well, on April 6th, Isaac turned 5. It is so hard to believe that 5 is even possible but apparently it is! And I do have to say, that with Abram's birth I got a little behind and almost forgot about having a party with his class. And then some how I still managed to forget to send out half of the invitations! Needless to say, there was a little lack of sleep for Patrick and I. But, we managed to somehow have a great party and he had a great time!

Here is a picture of Isaac when we got home from his party. And yes, he wore batman pj's to sleep in as a new 5 year old. We had his party at a local bounce house and he had a great time. So did we, because we didn't have to set anything up or clean anything up!

And Sydney even had a great time in all of the bounce houses.

And here Isaac is at the top of on of the large slides.

And the following is a shot of Isaac and his classmates (along with his sisters!)

This was the first time we haven't a birthday party at our home. And I do have to say that it was nice not having to get everything ready and clean up. Overall it was a great party and Isaac had a great time. Even the parents jumped in the bounce houses!

Abram's Baptism

Abram was baptized on Palm Sunday. It was such a nice day and we are so pleased that Tony and Erin Donatelli accepted the offer of being his God-Parents. They are such an amazing Christian couple. We feel very blessed to have them as part of our family!!!

The following is a group shot of their family along with ours. This picture makes me laugh because if you look at the faces on our kids, they don't look all that happy. I guess they just aren't as excited as we were. (Actually, as I think about it, they were upset because I took the palms leaves that they were playing with away so we could take pictures.)

Jordan, with the palm leaves!

And a cute shot of Sydney!

I had trouble getting Isaac to look at me to take a picture so this is as good as it gets. He was too busy playing with the palm leaves also.
And now a few family shots. Gene and Julia were here for the baptism so that made it even more special.

These are Abram's God Parents - Tony and Erin Donatelli

The following are a few pictures taken during the baptism.

It was such a nice day and after we got home Abram slept most of the afternoon. I guess it was a lot of work for our little guy. It was a great day and we continue to see blessing everywhere around us! Thank You Lord!!!

Nana and Pape

Gene and Julia came to visit us at the beginning of April and we had a great time with them here. Things have been a little crazy around here and I am finally getting around to posting some pictures of their trip here.

Here is a picture of Gene reading to the kids. Before the book was over, Sydney was on his shoulders :) Here is a good shot of Sydney and Gene. We made a special trip to Amish country and it was a nice chance to get out of the house.

And here are Gene and Abram.

And Julia and Abram

It was a nice having them here and it is always hard to see our family head back to Texas. Thanks for a great trip Gene and Julia.
