Getting to Texas

It took us about 6 hours to get back to Texas from New Mexico and I have to say the 6 hours were worth it. (It isn't a 6 hour drive but after a few pit stops it turned in to about 6 hours.) We are happy to be back in the Lone Star State! So , here are a few pictures we caught of our time on the road.
These next two pictures are for our friends in Ohio. This is how truly flat the panhandle of Texas is. This is also why the sky is so big in Texas. (There are no trees to block ANYTHING!) Another shot of the flat, yet prosperous, Panhandle of Texas.
And Jordan buckling up after a quick pit-stop.
Isaac also after a quick pit stop.
The kids after a stop at an ice cream shop. This was a fun stop.
Gene and Julia stretching their legs after some well deserved ice cream.
Jordan sporting a nice Long-John-Silver's pirate hat.
Patrick and the girls enjoying ice cream.
Jordan and Isaac in the VERY back of the suburban.
And I even drove for part of the trip. Be careful everyone!
We made it to Texas and are enjoying our time with family and friends. There will be more to come. Love ya and God Bless, Tara G.
